Account and billing

Deleting your data

Disconnect a marketplace, or remove your account and everything in it.

Removing a connection, or removing everything.

Disconnect one marketplace

Settings → Connections → Disconnect (open).

Deletes the stored credential immediately. Reskale can no longer read from or act on that marketplace.

What it does not do:

  • Touch your listings on that marketplace. They stay live — delist first if that is what you meant.
  • Delete your synced history. Past sales, orders and messages remain in Reskale.

Delete synced data without deleting your account

  • Messages → Clear removes synced messages.
  • Delete individual items from Inventory. Note this does not delist them — delist first.

Sales records are deliberately harder to remove. Sales are the financial history of your business, and deleting them silently is how a tool destroys something irreplaceable. If you need sales removed, email support and say so explicitly.

Delete your account

Settings → Delete account, at the bottom of the page (open). Click Delete my account…, type DELETE, and confirm. You are signed out straight away.

No web plan? Sign in anyway — you land on the plans page, and Delete account is at the bottom of it. You can also delete from the mobile app, or email support@reskale.xyz; both are described at reskale.xyz/data-deletion.

This removes your account and the data in it: inventory, listings, sales, orders, offers, messages, shipments, bookkeeping entries, photos and stored marketplace credentials.

It cannot be undone.

Before you do it

  • Export your bookkeeping. See year-end and exports. Your financial records may be required for tax purposes for several years, and once they are deleted here they are gone.
  • Delist anything you do not want live. Deleting your Reskale account does not delist anything — you would be left with live listings and no tool that knows about them.
  • Cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription yourself, in your phone's subscription settings. Apple and Google bill you directly, so Reskale cannot cancel those. A card subscription is cancelled for you the moment you delete. See billing.

What is not deleted

  • Your marketplace accounts and listings. They are yours and Reskale has no authority over them.
  • Payment records held by Stripe, which are retained for financial and legal reasons independently of Reskale.
  • Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot be traced to you.

Uninstall the extension

Remove it at chrome://extensions.

The extension stores your Reskale session reference and sync settings locally. Uninstalling clears them. It does not log you out of any marketplace.

Data requests

If your jurisdiction gives you a right to a copy of your data, or to correction, email support@reskale.xyz.

Reskale has EU users, so these rights apply in practice rather than theoretically.
