1. Information We Collect
- • Account information: email address and encrypted password
- • Marketplace credentials: encrypted OAuth tokens and session cookies for connected platforms (eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop)
- • Inventory data: product titles, SKUs, prices, images, and notes you enter
- • Marketplace data: active listings, orders, shipments, messages, and offers synced from connected platforms
- • Camera and photos: images you capture for product scanning (processed via Google Vision API)
- • Location data: optional, used for mileage tracking if enabled
- • Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and crash reports
- • Payment information: processed by Stripe — we never store card details
2. How We Use Your Information
- • Provide and maintain the App's features including crosslisting, order management, and marketplace sync
- • Process product scans and market lookups
- • Manage your inventory, orders, shipments, and bookkeeping data
- • Sync listings, orders, and messages across connected marketplaces
- • Process subscription payments via Stripe
- • Send account-related emails (verification, password reset)
- • Improve the App based on usage patterns
3. Browser Extension
The Reskale browser extension communicates with your connected marketplace tabs to sync data. It accesses marketplace pages you have open to read listing data, orders, messages, and offers. The extension only activates on marketplace domains you have explicitly connected. All data flows through your browser — we do not proxy or intercept your marketplace traffic through our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following services to provide App functionality:
- • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- • Google Cloud Vision — image analysis for product identification
- • eBay API — market pricing and listing data
- • Poshmark, Mercari, Depop — marketplace sync via browser extension
- • Stripe — payment processing
Each service processes data under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data. Marketplace credentials are encrypted before storage and are never stored in plaintext. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
- • Access: request a copy of your data
- • Correction: update inaccurate information via the App
- • Deletion: delete your account and all associated data
- • Export: download your inventory and bookkeeping data
- • Opt-out: disable optional data collection (location, analytics)
- • Disconnect: remove marketplace connections at any time
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete their account.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The web application uses essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens). No third-party tracking scripts or analytics are loaded. The browser extension does not set any cookies of its own.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
