What is Reskale?
One place to run a resale business across several marketplaces. There is also a mobile app for sourcing — scan an item in a store and see what it actually sells for before you buy it.
How crossposting worksIs there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days of full access to the web dashboard, and no card is required to start. When the trial ends you move to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted; the web dashboard just becomes unavailable until you subscribe.
Plans in detailWhat does it cost?
The web dashboard is on the Legendary plan: $49.99 a month, or $499.99 a year, which works out to two months free. The mobile app has cheaper tiers starting at $12.99 a month, and a Free plan with 25 AI scans a month that does not expire. Subscribing on the web or on Android costs less than on iOS, because Apple takes a cut of App Store subscriptions.
Full plan comparisonWhich marketplaces does it support?
eBay, Mercari, Depop, Vinted and Discogs — crossposting, order sync and sales tracking on all five. Facebook, Etsy, Whatnot, Grailed and Shopify are not supported and we are not promising a date: each integration is a permanent maintenance commitment, and four solid ones beat eight flaky ones. Poshmark is deliberately not supported, because Poshmark suspends seller accounts for automated activity.
Support matrixDo I need the browser extension?
For Mercari, Depop and Vinted, yes. Those marketplaces have no public API, and the extension is the only way to work with them. eBay and Discogs work without it. The extension runs on Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc and Opera — not Safari or Firefox, which use a different extension format, and not mobile browsers, which do not support extensions at all.
Installing the extensionDo you have my marketplace passwords?
No. Never seen, never stored, never transmitted — you log in on each marketplace's own site. For Mercari, Depop and Vinted we store the resulting session cookie, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, scoped to your account and never returned by any API. That is what lets sync run with your browser closed. The extension has permission for five marketplace domains and their image servers, and nothing else.
Privacy and securityWill it duplicate my listings?
No. An item already live on a marketplace is marked as such and cannot be posted twice, and retrying a failed job never creates a second listing. When a crosspost half-fails, Reskale checks the marketplace itself rather than assuming — marking a live listing as failed would leave a listing that nothing can take down.
Jobs and retriesCan I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the billing page and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Your inventory, sales history and bookkeeping records are not deleted when you cancel.
Managing your planIs there a mobile app?
Yes, on iOS and Android — it is the sourcing half of the product: scan an item in a store, see what it's listed for on eBay right now, and work out your profit before you buy. The crossposting dashboard is web-only, because it depends on a browser extension and mobile browsers cannot run one.
Where is it available?
Anywhere you can reach the marketplaces themselves. Prices and fee calculations are in US dollars, and the eBay sold-price data is from eBay's US site, so sellers outside the US will find the sourcing numbers less useful than the crossposting and order tracking.
