You can permanently delete your Reskale account and all associated data at any time. Three methods are available — pick whichever is easiest.

Option 1 — Delete on the website

1. Sign in to Reskale on the web
2. Go to Settings and scroll to Delete account at the bottom. (If you don’t have a web plan, signing in takes you to the plans page instead — Delete account is at the bottom of that page.)
3. Click Delete my account…, type DELETE, and confirm

Option 2 — Delete from inside the app

1. Open the Reskale app on your phone
2. Tap Settings (gear icon in the top-right)
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm the prompt

Either way, your account, inventory, scans, bookkeeping records, and all other personal data are deleted immediately. If you pay for Reskale by card, your subscription is cancelled at the same moment, so you won’t be charged again. Subscriptions bought through Apple’s App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google — cancel those in your phone’s subscription settings, because we can’t cancel them for you.

Option 3 — Email request (if you can’t sign in)

Email support@reskale.xyz from the email address on your Reskale account. Subject line: Account Deletion Request.

We verify the request against the account email and complete the deletion within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (email, phone, name)
• All scanned items, inventory records, and listing drafts
• Photos, receipts, and other files you uploaded
• Sales, orders, offers, and messages synced from your marketplaces
• Bookkeeping entries, mileage trips, and receipts
• Marketplace connections, saved settings, and support tickets
• Subscription records (billing history retained per tax law — see below)
• Device tokens and push notification preferences

What is retained and why

• Transaction records: retained for up to 7 years to comply with US federal and state tax, accounting, and financial record-keeping laws
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics: may be retained indefinitely — these contain no personal identifiers
• Backup copies: persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before automatic purge
• Your marketplace listings: listings you posted on eBay, Depop, Mercari, or any other marketplace live on your account there, not on Reskale. Deleting Reskale doesn’t remove them — end them on each marketplace if you want them gone.
