New accounts also get a 7-day trial with full web dashboard access. When it ends you move to Free — you are not charged, and nothing is deleted.
What a "scan" is
A scan is one AI identification: you point the camera at an item and Reskale identifies it and looks it up on eBay. Scans are the metered part of Reskale because each one costs real money to run — image recognition plus a live eBay lookup.
Two things deliberately do not use a scan:
- A scan that fails. If nothing is identified, or it errors, or it times out, you are not charged for it. You are buying answers, not attempts.
- A repeat of something already looked up. Cached results are free.
Your counter resets on the 1st of each month, UTC.

- 25 scans per month once your phone is verified. Before verifying, it is 10 — phone verification is what stops one person from farming unlimited free accounts.

The web dashboard requires Legendary
Worth stating plainly, because it surprises people: everything at reskale.xyz/dashboard requires Legendary, or an active trial.
Free, Starter and Pro are mobile app tiers. Signing in to the web dashboard on any of them sends you to the upgrade page.
The reason is that the web app is built around crossposting and the marketplace integrations behind it, and those are the Legendary features. There is no meaningful subset of this dashboard that works without them.
Running out of scans
When you hit your monthly limit, scanning stops until the 1st. Your data, inventory and listings are untouched — it is only new identifications that pause.
Your options are to upgrade to a tier with a bigger allowance, or wait for the reset. If you are regularly running out on Legendary, that is worth telling us: it means the plan is mis-sized for how you source.
Overage packs (100 extra scans for $4.99) are planned but not purchasable yet. Do not count on them.
During the trial
Full Legendary access for 7 days, including the web dashboard. No card required to start.
Use the trial to test the thing that will actually decide whether the tool works for you: connect your marketplaces, import your listings, and crosspost several real items. If the category mapping fits how you sell, the rest follows.
After the trial
Without a subscription the web dashboard becomes unavailable and you are sent to the upgrade page. You keep the Free plan and its 25 scans a month in the mobile app. Your data is not deleted — it is there when you subscribe.
Lifetime deal
From time to time we run a limited-time lifetime deal: one payment for Legendary, with no subscription and no renewals. It is for new members who have not paid for a plan before.
When the deal is running you will see it at the top of the upgrade page, with its price. When it is not, the upgrade page shows the monthly plan only. A lifetime purchase keeps Legendary on both the web dashboard and the mobile app.

Mobile pricing
Prices here are Stripe/Android. iOS prices are higher, because Apple takes a cut of App Store subscriptions: Starter $14.99, Pro $29.99, Legendary $59.99.
