Cross list from Mercari to Vinted

Import your Mercari listings into Reskale and post them to Vinted. This page is what happens to a listing on the way: its condition, its title and description, what you keep from a sale on each, and what Reskale does when it sells.

How to do it

  1. Connect Mercari and Vinted in Reskale.
  2. Import your Mercari listings. Each one becomes an item in your Reskale inventory.
  3. Pick the items, check the Vinted category and size Reskale suggests (a category is matched, not copied, and an import often has no size), and post them to Vinted: one at a time or in bulk.

Titles and descriptions

Title
Mercari titles fit: Mercari allows 80 characters and Vinted allows 100. First, every word in capitals is rewritten with one capital letter, sizes and abbreviations included (XL becomes Xl, NWT becomes Nwt), because Vinted refuses titles with too many capital letters.
Description
Mercari descriptions fit: Mercari allows 1,000 characters and Vinted allows 3,000.

How each connects

Vinted

When it sells

Auto-delist is part of the Legendary plan: when the item sells on one, Reskale takes the other listing down by itself if it is sure they are the same single item. Anything it is not sure about, such as an item with more than one in stock, waits on the Auto-Delist page for you to confirm.

  • If it sells on Vinted: Reskale deactivates the Mercari listing rather than deleting it, so you can reactivate it on Mercari later.
  • If it sells on Mercari: Reskale hides the Vinted listing rather than deleting it, so you can unhide it on Vinted later.

Reskale notices a Mercari or Vinted sale only while Chrome is open with the extension installed; the extension checks every 15 minutes.
