Cross list from Depop to Mercari
Import your Depop listings into Reskale and post them to Mercari. This page is what happens to a listing on the way: its condition, its title and description, what you keep from a sale on each, and what Reskale does when it sells.
How to do it
- Connect Depop and Mercari in Reskale.
- Import your Depop listings. Each one becomes an item in your Reskale inventory.
- Pick the items, check the Mercari category and size Reskale suggests (a category is matched, not copied, and an import often has no size), and post them to Mercari: one at a time or in bulk.
What each condition becomes
| On Depop | Posted to Mercari as |
|---|---|
| Brand new | New |
| Like new | Like new |
| Used - Excellent | Like new |
| Used - Good | Good |
| Used - Fair | Fair |
| Poor | Poor |
Titles and descriptions
- Title
- A Depop listing has no title of its own, so Reskale uses the first line of its description as the title. Mercari titles stop at 80 characters, so a longer title is shortened to fit, at a word break where there is one, and ends with "…".
- Description
- Depop descriptions fit: Depop allows 1,000 characters and Mercari allows 1,000.
What you keep on each
| Sale price | You keep on Depop | You keep on Mercari |
|---|---|---|
| $25 | $23.72 | $22.50 |
| $50 | $47.90 | $45.00 |
| $100 | $96.25 | $90.00 |
Item price only — shipping, sales tax and optional ads aren't included. Fees can vary by category; this uses each marketplace's standard rate.

How each connects
- Depop
- Reskale works on Depop through the browser extension, using the Depop login already in your browser.
- Mercari
- Reskale works on Mercari through the browser extension, using the Mercari login already in your browser.
When it sells
Auto-delist is part of the Legendary plan: when the item sells on one, Reskale takes the other listing down by itself if it is sure they are the same single item. Anything it is not sure about, such as an item with more than one in stock, waits on the Auto-Delist page for you to confirm.
- If it sells on Mercari: Reskale deletes the Depop listing; it does not deactivate or hide it. A deleted Depop listing cannot be brought back.
- If it sells on Depop: Reskale deactivates the Mercari listing rather than deleting it, so you can reactivate it on Mercari later.
Reskale notices a Depop or Mercari sale only while Chrome is open with the extension installed; the extension checks every 15 minutes.
